How to use our HTML Entity encode / decode tool?
The HTML Entity encode / decode replace special characters of a text with their Entity Number.
To encode a string, set the text in the first input (under “HTML Entity to encode”) and the converter will directly give the corresponding text with encoded HTML entities in the second input (under “HTML Entity to decode”).
It is also possible to decode a text containing HTML entities. To decode a string, set the text in the second input (under “HTML Entity to decode”) and the converter will directly give the text with the corresponding symbols of the HTML entities in the first input (under “HTML Entity to encode).
You can find more information about HTML entities on our reference page with a table of HTML entities.
